主要围绕蛋白质组及其翻译后修饰（如糖基化修饰）建立新技术新方法，并在重大疾病（如癌症、慢性肾病以及新冠肺炎）中进行基础应用研究。通过生物信息学方法进行多组学数据整合分析，以期发现临床样本中具有诊断、治疗、预后价值的生物标志物或治疗靶点，并探索疾病发生发展的分子机制和新型干预手段。作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金、中国博士后基金、四川省科技厅以及卫健委基金等项目，作为参研人员参与国家重点研发计划、NSFC面上项目等。在Nature Methods、Protein & Cell、NDT、MCP、Talanta、JPR等杂志发表论文30余篇。作为第一或主要发明人，申请中国发明专利7项，已授权2项。获得省部级科学进步一等奖1项。担任Biomaterials、Journal of Chromatography A等杂志的审稿人或青年编委。国际组织COVID-19质谱联盟成员。

He mainly builds new technologies and methods around the proteome and its post-translational modifications (such as glycosylation modification), and conducts basic application research in major diseases (such as cancer, chronic kidney disease, and new coronary pneumonia). Multi-omics data integration analysis is carried out through bioinformatics methods, in order to discover biomarkers or therapeutic targets with diagnostic, therapeutic, and prognostic value in clinical samples, and to explore the molecular mechanism of disease occurrence and development and new intervention methods. As the project leader, he presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Fund, Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the National Health Commission Fund. Published more than 30 papers in journals such as Nature Methods, Protein & Cell, NDT, MCP, Talanta, JPR. As the first or main inventor, he has applied for 7 Chinese invention patents and 2 of them have been authorized. He won the first prize for scientific progress at the provincial and ministerial level. He served as a reviewer or young editorial board member of Biomaterials, Journal of Chromatography A and other magazines. Member of the International Organization COVID-19 Mass Spectrometry Alliance.
